What would you do for clean water?
See what it means to walk in the shoes of a person living without their basic needs met
At least two-billion people around the world access drinking water contaminated with feces, reports the World Health Organization.
Water is a precious resource we can’t do without, which is why Christian Children’s Fund of Canada built or renovated 99 water facilities in our 2016/2017 fiscal year. Without easy access to clean water, children spend their days fetching water that may not even be safe for them to drink.
So, how far would you walk for water? That was the question posed in the UNICEF video below. See how access to clean water can really change a life. Visit our gift catalogue to learn more about how you can help.
