Meet youth who are changing their world for the better
Watch this Global Citizen video to see how they’re making a difference
Malnutrition, child marriages, access to education — global problems that are feeding poverty are not lost on today’s youth, and they’re doing something about it.
“WOD is called Worker on Demand,” explains Anuj in a video by the New York-based movement for social action, Global Citizen. “It is the name of my mobile application, which I am developing right now. In India, on the crossroads, you’ll find hundreds of workers standing there waiting for work — to be employed. This application is a bridge between the consumers and the workers.”
Christian Children’s Fund of Canada believes in youth using their voice to champion their rights, so they can reach their full potential and create lasting positive change.
