Creating food and opportunity for a family
Watch to see how CCFC donors provided Marisol with a lifeline in the form of an urban garden

Marisol’s garden is a source of pride — now she can support her family in Nicaragua.
Vegetables such as lettuce, tomatoes and onions give her family nutrition and income when sold in the community. “For Marisol, this is her lifeline; this is how she feeds her family,” explains James Duthie, TSN ambassador and CCFC volunteer ambassador.
Thanks to CCFC donors, Marisol has learned how to make her garden grow, and now she is producing 10 vegetable varieties.
