Using innovation to create opportunity
Watch to see how a Kenyan farmer is creating a better life for himself and his community
Using innovation to inspire a community to self-sufficiency is a key goal at Christian Children’s Fund of Canada (CCFC). We work in regions rife with challenges that take a lot of time and resources to support, but, sometimes something as simple as the Internet can inspire great opportunity.
“I use the Internet to help people,” says Zack, a farmer in Kenya in an innovative Google ad. “I think I’m searching for a better life for me and my neighbours…. When people have the knowledge, they can find solutions.”
At CCFC, we know education is power. Through clean water, health and education, we are arming communities with what they need to thrive. It’s a common thread that runs through our child sponsorship and Community Rise programs.
