Sparking an interest in early childhood education
Watch children gather to sing with their teacher in a special learning education program in Paraguay

Babies and young children in rural Paraguayan communities don’t often have access to the formal early-childhood stimulation they need, so Christian Children’s Fund of Canada has come up with a solution.
We’re working with educators who are taking a backpack filled with toys and educational tools for children, and positive change is noticeable. “They behave better, and their psychomotor ability is improved,” reports Marilina Lezcano, a teacher who has seen the project in action.
Join in on a lesson as an educator sings “The Elephant” song with children in Ypane, Paraguay, as part of the special early-childhood initiative.
