What if kids ruled the world?
Children share their hopes and dreams for the future
NAIROBI, Kenya — It’s often said children are the future of our nation. But, what if they were given the responsibility of global leadership?
“If I were President, I’d make sure the teachers would come to class,” said one Kenyan child in a recent survey of thousands of 10- to 12-year-olds from 41 countries.
The global results of the Small Voices, Big Dreams survey also shows children have an interest in improving school infrastructure, particularly in developing countries, where more than half of those surveyed made this their number-1 priority.
Watch, as Kenyan children raise their voices, and share their safety concerns at their school as participants of the Small Voices, Big Dreams survey.
