Fog solves water problem in remote village
Watch how one town in Laos was given a unique clean water source
NONGHET, Laos — If you can’t find a solution, ask for help. That’s how ChildFund Australia got the idea to convert fog to water in the town of Nonghet, Loas.
“I was expecting four to six litres of water to be collected,” said Daniel, from Electricians Without Borders, who helped with the project. “But after the first day I was very surprised to find one of the containers had collected 18 litres in one night.”
Congrats to ChildFund Australia, who along with Christian Children’s Fund of Canada, is a member of the ChildFund Alliance, a worldwide group of 11 child-centred development organizations.
