Speak out for equality this International Development Week
See how the world is uniting to make a difference
Canadians and our global neighbours are coming together to mark International Development Week (#IDW), a time to celebrate contributions to reducing poverty in the developing world.
This year, 'Together for Gender Equality' is the theme. It shows a commitment to a topic that’s important to us at Christian Children’s Fund of Canada (CCFC) where we work to ensure children are empowered, regardless of their gender or social class.
Today, we’ll also mark this special week during an event held at CCFC in collaboration with the Ethiopian-based African Child Policy Forum. We’ll celebrate our new partnership with this Pan-African organization committed, as we are, to ending violence against children in Africa. Stay tuned for an update in the coming days.
Support international development and the advancement of the rights of children by giving a gift to help those in need around the world.
