New leadership at Christian Children’s Fund of Canada
MARKHAM, Ont. (July 29, 2016) — Christian Children’s Fund of Canada (CCFC) has announced that Dr. Douglas Ellenor, chair of CCFC’s Board of Directors, will provide support for the executive leadership team as they move forward and grow the organization’s reach in developing communities.
“It is my honour to share the knowledge and skills I’ve gained through my executive leadership experience to help children and families in need around the world,” says Ellenor, a business leader with almost 40 years of experience. “The team at CCFC has done a great job to establish a solid foundation, and now it’s time for us to reach for the next level.”
After nearly eight years of dedicated service as chief executive officer, Mark Lukowski has left CCFC. Under Lukowski’s leadership, CCFC was recognized by the Financial Post as one of Canada’s top 25 charities for its efficiency, transparency and accountability.
“The Board recognizes the incredible accomplishments that have been made in recent years to propel the organization forward,” continues Ellenor. “The relationships with donors, corporations and government leaders are critical to paving our path to success and increasing our social impact.”
Ellenor will lead a special Board committee to begin the search for a new CEO.
