PARAGUAY — As Christmastime approaches in North America, many people dig out a nativity set, dust it off and display it amongst other holiday decorations. In Paraguay, the nativity (pesebre) is the centre of the celebration.
Part of the joy of the season in the warm climate is enjoying the scent of the flowers that surround the nativity and gathering with family and friends to celebrate.
Watch community members from Christian Children’s Fund of Canada program areas in Paraguay share holiday traditions they know and love.
