As you may recall in recent months we were contacted by our program staff from Ethiopia informing us of a child who was in desperate need of a caring sponsor.
We asked for your help and you listened. Soon after our plea for help, a kind and generous supporter decided to sponsor Beza. It wasn't too long after that, that staff in Ethiopia were busy setting up various doctors appointments for Beza. After numerous consultations, it was decided that Beza would be best taken care of at Menelik’s Hospital by eye specialist Dr. Abonesh.
We are very happy to report that Beza has undergone surgery to correct her vision and is doing well. Beza is required to complete a series of treatments and will continue to visit Dr. Abonesh, once a month for an entire year to ensure she has fully recovered.
Perhaps now, Beza is one step closer to her a dream of becoming a doctor, all thanks to you and her caring sponsor.
