Tesema first enrolled in Christian Children's Fund of Canada's sponsorship program 15 years ago, when he was four. His family was struggling to provide the basic necessities - food, water and education, but thanks to CCFC sponsorship, Tesema's life has changed dramatically.

Our Approach
CCFC recognizes that children don't live in isolation. They are part of a family and community, and in order to improve the life of one child, we must restore parents' abilities to care and provide for their children.
Our goal is not to address just the symptoms, but the root causes of extreme poverty.
