CCFC helps 360,000 children and families in 7 countries. They are Burkina Faso, Ethiopia, Ghana, India, Nicaragua, Paraguay and Tanzania.
CCFC selects the countries and communities they will assist based on need, without regard to religion, race or nationality. We aim to help children in countries which have "very high to moderately high Under Five Mortality Rates" (U5MR) as defined by UNICEF's "State of the World's Children" report.
This criteria is considered the most reliable indicator of development within a country as it reflects the nutritional health of mothers, the level of immunization, the availability of maternal and child health services, income and food availability in the family, the availability of potable water and safe sanitation and the overall safety of the child's environment.
