Last August, we told you about Silvanus, a brave 16-year-old whose hands were severely burned by his abusive father and who desperately needed corrective surgery. Because of your generosity, Silvanus has had two successful surgeries and can use his hands again.

Mary Lucila meets her sponsors
This past January, Celine and David Warne set off for Paraguay to meet their sponsored child, Mary Lucila. After a bumpy three-hour drive from Asuncion, they arrived at her home in the suburbs of Coronel Oviedo to find the entire family in front of the house waiting to greet them.
