Nursery pupils will no longer be relegated to church auditorium thanks to the efforts of two NGO's. The Markaz Al Bishara a local NGO, with funding from Christian Children’s Fund of Canada, constructed and furnished a three-classroom block for the nursery pupils.
Inaugurating the block, was CCFC Country Director, Sanatu Nantogma; who said the gesture was part of plans to enable Ghana to attain universal primary education by 2015.
“It is our hope that this edifice will lead to a drastic increase in enrollment and retention of children in Zaguri, especially the girl-child,” says Nantogma.
