The Vice-president of Global Operations of Christian Children's Fund of Canada (CCFC), Dan Stevens, will meet during this week with Paraguayan authorities.
Dan Stevens has visited several communities that receive the cooperation of CCFC in Paraguay. As a part of his agenda, a meeting with the Vice-President of Paraguay Federico Franco is arranged for this week. Dan Stevens will also meet Minister of Childhood and Adolescent Liz Torres as well as other representatives from NGOs. Mr. Stevens had visited last Thursday and Friday several communities such as 3 Nacientes y 6 de Junio de Ypané, Olegario de Coronel Oviedo, Cerro Punta y Nueva Esperanza de Troche y el barrio San Miguel de Villarrica.
CCFC supports community development, focused on children. In Paraguay, it reaches more than 7,700 children and families, with an investment of more than 1 million American dollars per year. There are economic resource programs in Asuncion, Central, Presidente Hayes, Cordillera, Caaguazú y Guairá.
