An endowment is a charitable fund that invests the capital and uses a portion of the annual income for the charity’s mission.  Endowments provide vital long-term support to CCFC, while providing you with a meaningful legacy.

Endowment funds are a way to give for years to come and to show others the importance of something close to your heart.   Often Endowment Funds attract the interest and support of other donors as they see the long term commitment and big difference that will be made to a particular area.   For example, an Endowment Fund for a school may attract other to provide funding for additional classrooms or help pay for teachers.   An Endowment Fund gives you the means to create a wave of change.


How Endowment Funds Work
Endowments can be tailored to suit your particular area of interest -- anything from training new doctors to helping to start hundreds of small business every year.  

Gifts to endowments are set aside and kept separate from operating and capital funds to ensure that the focus of your generosity remains year after year.  Many people find endowments appealing as they are extremely secure.  The use of funds are restricted to the stated purpose.   

Each year into the future, your children, grandchildren, and your community will be reminded of your generosity.  

Some people choose to have their fund bear the name of a particular loved one or of their family.
