All donations made to Christian Children's Fund of Canada (CCFC) are tax deductible. CCFC sends tax receipts in February for all donations made in the previous year so that they can be included with your income tax returns. You can also contact us to make a special request concerning your tax receipt or if you have any questions with regard to your donations.

Donations and gifts to registered charities are tax deductible in Canada. You do not have to claim all of your donations on your current year’s tax return. They can be carried forward and claimed on any tax return filed within the next five years.
- What makes CCFC a “registered charity”?
CCFC is on the Canada Revenue Agency’s list of registered charities. As such, we have obligations to the government to keep accurate records and to ensure that official donation receipts are duly completed and issued.
- Is there a limit on tax deductible donations in Canada?
Your total tax deductible donation limit, in terms of cash or property, is generally 75% of your net income for the year. See the Canada Revenue Agency website for exceptions and more information.
- How do I make a tax deductible donation?
Tax deductible donations to CCFC can be made online by choosing the area that you want to support. See our donate now page for more information. You can also allow CCFC to put your contribution amount towards the greatest need. Child sponsorship is tax deductible as well. For $38 per month you will address the immediate needs of your sponsored child, enabling them to grow healthy and to help their community in the future.
