What are Christian Children’s Fund of Canada’s Gift Cards?
Christian Children’s Fund of Canada’s Gift Cards are cards you can give to a person you would like to Honour or In Memory of a loved one. Gift Cards tell your friends and family about the special gifts you have given in their names. When ordering online, you may choose from a variety of appealing Gift Card designs. You can choose to send an eCard or we can mail a card on your behalf. We have even added a handy feature allowing you to schedule the date you would like us to deliver your ecard.
How does it work?
- Step One Donate
Make a sponsorship, donation or purchase a gift catalogue item.
- Step Two Identify Gift(s)
In the gift basket, specify ‘Gift Card’ for the item(s) and enter the gift recipient’s name(s).
- Step Three Personalize
After checkout, choose a card design, delivery method (email or mail) and enter recipient details along with a personal message.
- Done
We’ll do the rest and send the gift card on your behalf.
What happens after I send my eCard?
After sending your eCard, the recipient will receive an email letting them know you have sent them an ecard and where they can view the card.
Will I receive a tax receipt when I give a gift In Honour or In Memory of a loved one.
Yes. When you give any gift from our Gift Catalogue or make a donation or sponsor a child, it is considered a tax receiptable donation. Total annual donations of $10 or more will be receipted in time for tax purposes.
Will I be notified as to when my eCard is viewed?
Yes. When you fill out the details of your eCard you have the option to choose whether or not you are to be notified when the honouree views your eCard.
Can I purchase 1 item and get 2 eCards or 2 mail cards.
No. Unfortunately we can only send one eCard per item in your gift basket.
