National Survey - Canada's Worst Mother's Day Gifts

When it comes to Mother's Day gifts, it's the thought that counts—or so they say. Deep down, however, moms yearn for a pleasant surprise. 

The national survey results released by Christian Children's Fund of Canada (CCFC) reveal that moms don't always receive what they wish for on Mother's Day.

But there is a way out for the struggling gift giver; 89 per cent of moms surveyed say that they would feel "honored" if they received a gift from a charitable gift catalogue. 

"Every mother deserves to be celebrated on this special holiday," says Mark Lukowski, CCFC's Chief Executive Officer.  "When you help mothers halfway around the world feed and provide for their children, you give them confidence and experience to support others in need."
