Position Overview:
The role of Manager, Information Technology at CCFC is a leadership position reporting to the Director, Information Technology. The Manager of Information Technology (IT) will be responsible for the management of the organization's Information Technology by recommending and implementing technological infrastructure to achieve the organization's goals. The manager will provide management support in the continuous development and evolution of information technology and related service processes needed to pro-actively manage the delivery of technical enhancements and continued maintenance of the infrastructure of CCFC Worldwide.

This role includes but not limited to:
- Supervision of IT staff and external service-providers / vendors to ensure they deliver the best information technology infrastructure that focuses on aligning IT services to the needs of the organization
- Leading IT staff and external service-providers / vendors for troubleshooting, development of specifications, capacity planning, procurement, etc
- Management of customer service directly or indirectly to staff of all levels and locations
- Relationship building and collaboration with managers
- IT Management – including developing IT Strategic Roadmap, determine and articulate impact, benefits, set goals, measure, priorities, manage delivery, analyze, recommend and implement IT standards, policies, best practices, develop report, make recommendations and presentations
- IT Infrastructure – involvement in the conduct of specialized and complex analysis for enhancing and upgrading existing systems, researching, assessing impact and effectiveness. Manage security levels, standards and policies, solution planning and delivery of assign projects, managing staff and consultants to ensure best end user support.
- Management of all IT related technology infrastructure and services
- Risk management – proactively assess and mitigate risks, participate in business continuity plans, implement and maintain acceptable project management methodologies, frameworks, principles, best practices, maintain detailed documentation on all CCFC IT systems and projects
- Customer Service- maintain service level agreements, develop and maintain positive, collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders
Our ideal candidate will bring:
- Bachelor of Science degree in IT/IS or equivalent
- Minimum 3 years' experience as an Information Technology Manager, with a minimum of 5 direct reports, proven leader and manager of internal staff, external consultants and service-providers
- Customer-service focused (experience in obtaining, analysing and responding to user feedback)
- Ability to express complex technical concepts effectively, both verbally and written, to both technical staff and to business staff with proven presentation and facilitation skills
- Solid technical foundation and direct "hands-on" experience in the following key technical areas with proven technical management experience in evaluation, design and implementation of IT systems including: o Server and Network Management (HP, Microsoft and Cisco) o Virtual Server Infrastructure (VMware) Management with associated Backup and DR experience o Telecommunication/Messaging systems including call centres, VOIP, MS Exchange and mobile devices (tablets, smart phones) o Management of Oracle and MS SQL database environments. o Network design and architecture (LAN and Global WAN experience) o Service Desk Management and End User Support ( levels 1 and 2) o Management of SharePoint environment
- Strong project management skills with effective results focused within an IT environment – PMP certification as asset o Proficient with Microsoft Project, Microsoft Office Suite incl. Microsoft Outlook for development of project plans, resource allocation, and reporting
- ITIL (minimum foundation certificate) or equivalent experience
- CCNA certification (minimum) and related Cisco experience
- Advanced problem solving and customer support skills
- Experience in capacity planning, backup and recovery strategies, disaster recovery planning
- Ability to lead and integrate well with other IT team members
- Knowledge of latest technology changes
- Ability to express complex technical concepts effectively, both verbally and written, to both technical staff and to business staff with proven presentation and facilitation skills
